Abstract
In this paper, the construction company's energy recovery ventilator (ERV) supply ports and exhaust ports method with the best indoor temperature distribution uniformity was found using CFD and Design Builder, in order to propose a standard for the location and number of ERV supply ports and exhaust ports applied differently to each construction company. As a result of the study, B Construction Company's ERV supply ports and exhaust ports method by showing 0.83 of indoor temperature distribution, which has 5 air supply ports and 2 exhaust ports, was the best compared to the three other construction companies’ ERV supply ports and exhaust ports methods. It was found that the location and number of ERV supply ports and exhaust ports were important factors in improving the uniformity of indoor temperature distribution. In addition, as the uniformity of indoor temperature distribution is improved, it is expected to improve the comfort of the occupants.
