Abstract
This study aimed to identify the physiological changes of a 12-week toe flexion exercise program to improve foot muscles in middle-aged women. Twenty middle-aged women in their 40s to 60s who had experienced back pain were selected and divided into 10 exercise groups and 10 control groups. Changes before and after the 12-week exercise program were verified. When the change in foot arch was identified after exercise, right foot width, left foot width, and right a significant result was found in the foot shell. There was a significant difference in the lumbar angle and right knee angle alignment change of the spine. Based on these results, it was judged that the 12-week toe flexion exercise program had a positive effect on the alignment of the arch and spine in middle-aged women.
