- Abstract
- Most parking control systems provide automatic toll collection services. But most drivers spend many times in roaming the parking lot looking for a close, convenient parking space. If vacant parking space and customer satisfaction index are displayed in the display board, drivers do not need to roam the parking lot and can save much time. Also, the customer satisfaction degree can increase significantly when we park in vacant parking space. Thus, this study presents hybrid intelligent recognition architecture that combines case-based reasoning with rule-based reasoning to get customer satisfaction index and vacant parking spaces respectively. In this architecture, context interpreter infers the result through the pattern matching that compare the context information with the rules in the rule-based system and infers the result through case-based reasoning if there is no results in the rule-based system. The test program implemented by C++ language is offered as a prototype application.
