- Abstract
- A recent development in novel catalytic nanostructures offers numerous opportunities to perform the electrochemical operations towards sensing applications. The organic material PANI has been endorsed as a conducting polymer as it has controlled electrical properties and low density which will be beneficial over the metallic nanostructures. Herein, Nickel Cobalt Ferrite (NiCoFe2O4 (NCF)) nanostructures were anchored on the surface of PANI and engineered for electrochemical sensing applications. 3-nitro-L-tyrosine (3-NT) is an important compound for diagnosing oxidizing biomarkers that plays a vital role in therapy and diagnosing pathogenesis. Due to NCF/PANI's conductivity, and superior surface area. It was probed for electrochemical sensing of 3-NT. The NCF/PANI displayed an excellent LOD, broad linear range, better sensitivity, selectivity, and stability. Furthermore, the proposed sensor exhibits sensitive 3-NT detection in biological samples with satisfactory recovery rates.
