- Abstract
- In the present study, space arrangement techniques and space composition techniques were developed utilizing the methods of selecting the positions of the entrance, bed room, and the kitchen, which is the logic of Yangtaeg Samyo utilized in house planning and a technique to select adjective language for images, which are space decorating elements, utilizing the theory of yin-yang & five elements of the universe based on saju-myungrihak. First, it was identified that by synthesizing the measure that utilizes Bonmyeonggungs as a space arrangement technique and the measure that utilizes the theory of yin-yang & five elements of the universe as a space composition technique, space databases and adjective vocabularies for images can be made separately for ①languages for selection of the positions of the entrance, bed room, and the kitchen based on the Bonmyeonggung table, ② image languages for building shapes, ③ languages for selection of arrangement of rooms, and ④ overall design languages. In addition, it was also judged that by identifying the fortunes of entrance, bed room, and the kitchen based on Bonmyeonggung and the excess and shortage based on the yin-yang & five elements of the universe shown in saju-myungrihak, design guideline tables for building arrangement, the composition of individual rooms, building roofs, entrances, walls, and landscapes can be made and the exterior shapes and materials of buildings and the harmony between new and old materials can be judged. In addition, as for internal spaces, the location of the bed room of the subject, the shapes of openings, the locations of doors, and the shapes of major furniture units can be understood.
