Abstract

This research was to investigate how to organize sports activities in primary schools to prevent school violence based on in-depth interview with current sports activities instructors in primary schools. The analysis of this study focused on the way in which the school should conduct sports activities to prevent school violence. The results of the study were following. First, it is necessary for the environment for sports activities to be public. Second, the convenience of activities and education focused on sports activities should be prioritized. Third, the instructor should develop interesting programs based on convenience. Fourth, the program should be the one in which all friends can share their common values and realize them. Fifth, when to conduct the sports activities, their system should be based on stability, not changing frequently.
