- Abstract
- This study is conducted to verify the role of efficacy as a factor for adjusting the anger in matching. For this purpose, the data is collected using sport anger and performance efficacy scales from 200 short-track players who are on the national, work, and university team. The study results is derived through the following research procedures. Firstly, there are a level difference in anger depending on affiliation such as national, work, and university team. To be specific, there are statistical significant difference in performance degrade, and the players in national team have lower anger level compared to work and university team. Also, the results show differences in efficacy by affiliation, there are a significant difference in the speed control, physical usage, course management. Although there are no statistical difference between players belong in university and national team, the players on the national team have a relatively high efficacy. Finally, the result indicate the efficacy effect on the anger in competition. Specially, match managing efficacy has a positive effect on anger be caused by lack of team cohesion. Also, psychological control and speed control efficacy influence anger triggered by unfair judgement, in particular, psychological control had more power influence.
