| dc.description.abstract | This paper suggests the design to attain the optimal efficiency of PMa-SynRM. Globally, Minimum Energy Performance Standards(MEPS) is largely implemented for reducing the consumption of energy. For satisfying MEPS which will be strengthened afterwards, ultra-premium efficiency motor which can surpass the super-premium level, should be fully researched and developed. However, SynRM is difficult to reach ultra-premium efficiency. Unlike SynRM, PMa-SynRM contains the permanent magnet, so it can reaches ultra-premium efficiency. However, to design PMa-SynRM, the fundamental design should be re-progressed through the selection of appropriate loading ratio. And it needs optimal design of rotor considering numerous variables of rotor. In this paper, the main design parameters which has a high sensitivity are selected through sensitivity analysis and the optimal design of rotor is implemented to reach the maximum efficiency. Then, the improvement of performance is confirmed by comparison to SynRM. Finally, the achievement of ultra-efficiency will be verified by experiment. | - |
