| dc.description.abstract | 인도네시아의 수도 자카르타는 지반침하로 인해 전 세계에서 가장 빠르게 가라앉고 있다. 급격히 악화되고 있는 지반침하의 주된 원인은 많은 사람들이 우물에 의존하기 때문이라고 한다. 더욱이 최근 들어 잦은 홍수로 인해 우물 물이 심각하게 오염되면서 주민들의 삶을 위협하고 있어 대체재가 시급한 상황이다. 본 연구는 자카르타의 지반침하의 원인인 우물을 캄풍 무카에 맞게 건축화하고, 지속 가능한 생활 인프라로서의 가능성을 부유식 구조체, 지역 재료, 빗물 정화 시스템 등을 통해 탐구한 설계안이다. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | Jakarta, Indonesia's capital, is the fastest-sinking city in the world. Ground subsidence is the main cause of the city's sinkage; most of Jakarta's residents depend on wells for water, and the overwhelming extraction of water from Jakarta's lands continues to exacerbate the city's subsidence. Recently, flood-induced water contamination in Jakarta has rendered the usage of traditional wells dangerous not only for the city's survival, but also for the residents' well-being. This architectural feature-"levitating well"-addresses these urgent issues by reimagining the traditional well. Over the last century, Kampung Muka(one of villages in North Jakarta) has become synonymous with environmentally hazardous zone. This architectural project attempts to gain control of the region's water infrastructure by proposing a sustainable water network that would substitute contaminated wells. This architectural project becomes part of their living, providing a space to live daily life no matter what environmental crisis may occur. Instead of manipulating the environment to fulfill our needs, the "Levitating Well" proposes a way to coexist with our planet while preserving it. | - |
