다층모형을 활용한 고등학생 진로교육 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석

Abstract

목적 본 연구의 목적은 고등학생 진로교육 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보는 데 있다. 방법 2019년 진로교육 현황조사 자료를 활용하여 고등학생들의 진로교육 만족에 영향을 미치는 학생 수준과 학교 수준의 요인을분석하였다. 다층모형을 적용하여 학생 수준의 요인으로 자기인식, 자기 주도적 학습 능력, 도전정신, 학습동기, 부모와의 관계를, 학교 수준 요인으로 지역사회 협력, 관리자 지원, 진로전담교사 실행도, 진로교육 예산이 진로교육 만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 결과 400개 고등학교에서 학생 8,365명, 400명의 관리자 및 진로지도교사의 자료를 분석한 결과, 학교 수준에서는 진로교육 예산이 진로교육 만족에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤고, 학생 수준에서는 자기인식, 자기 주도적 학습 능력, 도전정신, 부모와의 관계 모두 진로교육 만족에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 분석 결과를 바탕으로 고등학생 진로교육 만족을 높이기 위한 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to analyze student and school-level factors that influence high school students’ career education satisfaction using 2019 career education survey data. Methods Based on a multi-level model, self-awareness, self-directed learning, challenge spirit, learning motivation, and relation with parents were considered as student level factors, and community support, supervisor support, career teachers' ability, and career education budget were considered as school-level factors. Data from 8,365 students and 400 supervisors and career teachers in 400 high schools were analyzed. Results The results of this study showed that the career education budget at the school level had a positive effect on career education satisfaction. At the student level, all the variables (i.e., self-awareness, self-directed learning, challenging spirit, and relation with parents) had a positive effect on career education satisfaction. Conclusions In order to enhance high school students’ career education satisfaction, several practical implications were discussed.
