사례분석을 통한 종합병원 건강검진센터의 환경행태특성

Abstract

(연구배경 및 목적)의료 환경의 흐름에 맞춰 경쟁력 강화를 위한 방법으로, 의료서비스 측면에서 전문화와 세분화를 지향하게 되었고 예방과 건강유지 중심으로의 건강검진센터 및 전문병원 이라는 새로운 의료공급을 창출하게 되었다. 건강검진센터를 방문하는 이용자에게 보다 나은 환경을 제공하고자 본 논문은 건강검진센터의 환경행태특성을 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다. (연구방법)본 연구는 문헌을 통한 선행연구와 사례분석에 의한 현장조사로 진행되었다. 첫째, 문헌과 선행연구를 통하여 건강검진 공간구성에 대해 살펴보고, 환경행태의 특성을 이론적으로 고찰하였다. 둘째, 선행연구에서 언급하고 있는 환경행태 요소를 추출하여 환경행태 평가를 위한 체크리스트를 작성하였다. 셋째, 서울시에 위치한 종합병원 건강검진센터 6곳의 공용공간의 사례조사를 통하여 환경행태를 분석하고 평가하였다. (결과)종합병원의 검진센터의 공용공간은 의료 환경 중 가장 넓은 면적을 차지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 5가지 환경행태특성 중 프라이버시 특성은 전반적으로 잘되어 있는 것으로 나타났으나 여성 전용의 대기공간을 제공하여 수검자 중심적인 프라이버시를 지원해주어야 한다. 자연성은 부족한 것으로 나타났는데 선큰 광장이나 테라스를 활용하기도 하지만 자연을 활용하는 방법이 소극적인 것으로 나타났다. 향후 설문지법이나 관찰법을 통해 수검자 중심적인 특성을 고려한 후속연구가 필요하다.

(Background and Purpose) Medical environments are changing with the connection between central offices of general hospitals. Thus, patients’ conditions based on medical circumstances are reviewed when they visit a health examination center. (Method)This research represents a progression from precedent research according to a literature review and a spot survey. First, a theological investigation of the character of environmental behavior was conducted from relevant literature and surveys. Second, a checklist was developed to assess the objects of the study from the environmental/behavioral characteristics set forth in precedent research. Third, environmental behavior was analyzed and assessed, with case study investigations of health examination centers associated with six general hospitals in Seoul. (Results)The privacy factor is appropriate in health examination centers, but the eco-friendly factor is insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce nature in an active way. Furthermore, most health examination centers should be streamlined for efficiency and patients’ characteristics.
