유라시아 문화지형도 내 한민족예술의 다문화적 접변 양상 고찰: ‘홍범도 장군’ 콘텐츠의 OSMU 방식을 중심으로

Abstract

본고에서는 러시아와 중앙아시아를 아우르는 유라시아 문화지형도의 패러다임 속에서 홍범도 장군 콘텐츠의 다문화적 변용에 관해 고찰하고 있다. 더불어 홍범도에 관한 ‘옛 이야기’가 스토리텔링의 다양한 OSMU 방식을 통해 ‘새 이야기’로 변모되어 가는 과정을 추적한다. ‘홍범도 장군’에 대한 콘텐츠는 홍범도 자신이 구술한 것을 받아 쓴 「홍범도 일지」를 근간으로 한 태장춘의 희곡 <홍범도>, 홍범도 사후에 그를 기리고자 했던 전우 이인섭의 노력으로 추진되었던 김세일의 소설 <홍범도>, 어린 시절 기억을 바탕으로 자신의 아버지와 홍범도의 인간미에 주목한 문금동의 소설 <아부지와 홍범도> 등으로 다양하게 변형되어왔다. 이러한 자료에 입각해 본고에서는 고려인 예술계에서 추진했던 홍범도 장군에 대한 기록문학과 연극 등의 콘텐츠와 아울러 최근 국내에서 홍범도 장군을 대대적으로 내세운 문화예술계의 동향에 대해 살펴보았다. 나아가 이야기 자체가 막대한 이윤을 창출하는 상품이 된 오늘날의 문화현상에 맞추어 홍범도 장군의 스토리를 다양한 문화콘텐츠로 재가공하고 대중화하는 산업의 가능성과 함께, 그의 정신을 계승하는 인문 자산을 통해 한국과 러시아·중앙아시아로 이어지는 ‘홍범도 루트’ 발굴을 통한 관광 상품으로의 가능성 역시 제시하고 있다.

This study seeks to examine the multicultural transformation of General Hong Beom-do contents within the paradigm of the Eurasian cultural topography that encompasses Russia and Central Asia. In addition, the study traces the process of “old stories” related to Hong Beom-do being transformed into "new stories" through a variety of OSMU (One source multi-Use) methods based on storytelling techniques. The contents of "General Hong Beom-do" have been transformed in various ways such as through Tae Jang-chun's play <Hong Beom-do>, which is based on the 「Hong Bum-do’s Journal」 that was written through Hong Beom-do’s personal oral statement, Kim Se-il’s novel <Hong Beom-do>, which was promoted by a fellow soldier Lee In-seop who wanted to honor him after Hong Beom-do’s death, and Moon Geum-dong’s novel <Father and Hong, beom-do>, which focuses on the humane aspects Hong Beom-do and his father based on childhood memories. Based on these materials, the study examines contents such as documentary literature and plays related to General Hong Beom-do that was promoted in the world of Russian Korean artists, as well as the trends in the world of cultural arts, which have extensively promoted General Hong Beom-do in Korea during recent times. Furthermore, in accordance with today's cultural phenomenon, where stories have become a product of huge profits, the study proposes the possibility of the industry that reprocesses and popularizes General Hong Beom-do's story into various cultural contents, as well as the possibility of a tourism product through the discovery of the "Hong Beom-do route” that extends to Korea, Russia, and Central Asia based on the humanistic assets that inherit his spirit.
