요양병원과 종합병원 간호사의 도덕적 고뇌와 소진 비교연구

Abstract

목적; 요양병원과 종합병원 간호사의 도덕적 고뇌와 소진에 대한 비교연구이다.

방법; 이 연구는 서울, 대구, 부산에 있는 종합병원과 요양병원 간호사 193명(요양병원 95명, 종합병원 98명)을 대상으로 한 서술적 조사연구이다. 2018년 10월2일부터 11월30일까지 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 데이터를 수집하여 SPSS 21.0 프로그램으로 분석하였다.

결과; 요양병원 간호사의 도덕적 고뇌는 종합병원 간호사보다 높게 나타났고, 종합병원 간호사는 요양병원 간호사보다 소진이 높았다. 요양병원과 종합병원 간호사의 도덕적 고뇌와 소진에는 상관관계가 있었다.

결론; 본 연구로 요양병원 간호사의 도덕적 고뇌와 소진의 관리를 위하여 간호 관리자와 조직에서는 종합병원 간호사와 유사한 도덕적 고뇌와 소진의 정도를 요양병원 간호사가 보이고 있다는 점을 인식하고 관리하여야 한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the moral distress and burnout between long-term care hospital nurses and general nurses.

Methods: This study was a cross-sectional survey. Participants were 193 nurses (long-term care hospital 95, general hospital 98) working in a hospital in Seoul, Daegu and Busan city. Data were collected from October 02 to November 30, 2018 using a structured questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS/PC ver 21.0 programs.

Results: The scores of moral distress by nurses working in long-term care hospitals were higher than those of nurses in general hospitals. The score of burnout by nurses working in general hospitals was significantly higher than that of nurses in long-term care hospitals. There was a significant positive relationship between moral distress and burnout in both long-term care hospital nurses and general hospital nurses.

Conclusion: This research shows that long-term care hospital nurses have higher moral distress and burnout than those of general hospital nurses. Therefore, nursing managers and organization should strive to raise the perception of moral distress and burnout in long-term care hospital nurses.
