Abstract
This paper was proposed a liquid desiccant assisted-dedicated outdoor air system with organic Rankine cycle. The energy performance of the proposed system was determined as a central ventilation system of a high-rise apartment building. A dedicated outdoor air system using desiccant wheel was considered as a compared system. The waste heat released from the organic Rankine cycle was used for regeneration heat in the proposed system. The thermal load of the 30-stories apartment building model was calculated by TRNSYS 18 program. The result showed that the proposed system saved 71.4% of the primary energy than the reference system because of the recovering of the waste heat from the organic Rankine cycle.
