Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a model for predicting the performance of a thermoelectric energy harvester that recovers unused thermal energy among the thermal energy produced by the organic Rankine cycle (ORC), a kind of combined heat and power generators. In order to make the power generation model applicable to various size thermoelectric energy harvesters, the parameters and experimental model were derived as dimensionless functions. According to simulation results, the thermoelectric energy harvester recovered unused thermal energy from ORC produced 709 kWh in summer.
