- Abstract
- As ACI 318R-14, Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete, there is no standard using steel fiber to replace transverse
reinforcement in coupling beam. But, Steel fiber can increase ductility, tension, and attachment. So they can increase durability in coupling beam. For this reason, Experiments were conducted with two specimens using steel fiber. First specimen is not containing steel fiber, but second specimen is containing steel fiber 1 %. In this study, the structural performance of coupling beam with steel fiber was evaluated by comparing two specimens. This study is expected applicability in coupling beam to use steel fiber.
