- Abstract
- The automatic pattern system reacting to customer design is a method of setting done by mapping the area of image drawn by customer and pattern area in advance. With this technology, the drawing made by a customer is automatically reflected in the clothing pattern in real time. However, the problem in this process is that while the drawing made by the customer is just one, the clothing patterns to be mapped can be about 3–5 per size. In addition, though it is not known which size will be chosen by the customer, setting of a random size has to be done before customer makes the design. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a mapping technology on the size chosen by the customer no matter which size the customer chooses when the prior setting is done for a random size. Besides, there are some parts where two patterns are adhered as one. It is necessary to develop a grouping technology which can prevent separation of the two patterns when the size is changed.
