- Abstract
- This paper aims to suggest a scenario that operates IoT depending on occupant’s subjective satisfaction regarding temperature. Recently, EEG technologies are applied to various fields to understand user satisfaction. In addition, the development of IoT technology has been actively researched to understand the effect of users" spatial satisfaction in the field of architecture. However, current monitoring technology of the architectural space is operated by the function, research that can reflect and respond to the needs of a various user is needed. In this study, we analyzed the EEG data through the power spectrum, and it was found that the α-wave was increased at the temperature condition where the user was satisfied. Therefore, if subjective EEG information is utilized in the space in the future, it can serve as the theoretical basis of the personalized IoT platform and it is expected that quantitative evaluation of the user-centered spatial experience will be possible.
