- Abstract
- Extracting and applying proper structure information from high-resolution data is crucial when performing an integrated inversion with seismic and EM data using structural constraints. Therefore, in this study, we propose the effective three-dimensional integrated inversion method with the quantitative seismic interpretation result and EM data using the structural constraint. To do so, we first proposed the application of QSI results, instead of velocity information acquired from the seismic full-waveform inversion, and we could adequately provide the structure information of target reservoir itself. In addition, to efficiently link the structure information between two models having different resolution, we applied structure tensor approach instead of gradient approach, and we could readily extract the average directional information of the distribution of the target reservoir. Therefore, using the extracted average directional information, we could finally acquire the structural and quantitative enhanced integrated inversion results.
