- Abstract
- Since smart healthcare, architecture form built by 3d printers now recognize that convergence of architecture and technology are important, architecture education have become closely related to fostering changes towards the aforementioned convergence of architecture and technology. This study aims to clarify how the convergence of architecture and technology can be implemented in interior architecture education and enhance creativity for students. In order to develop a proper educational course, we propose a new course named as the critical theory and emerging technology in contemporary architecture course. The course composed of three parts; lectures of architecture theory, workshops of emerging technology in architecture field, and design implementation. Through the course, students are able to learn critical perspective of contemporary architecture and adoptability of the new technology.
