- Thermal environment is one of the most important factors in determining occupant’s comfortable. Occupants adjust their thermal environment through a variety of adaptive behavior if they feel thermally discomfort. Therefore, it is necessary to understand occupants’ thermal perception and comfort temperature for providing the comfortable thermal environment. Several field studies on thermal comfort have been carried out in the world.[1-3] These results showed that the occupant’s comfort temperature is different according to their local climate. Moreover, the naturally ventilated occupants have wider range comfortable indoor temperature than air-conditioned occupants.[3] This study is aimed to investigate thermal environment and comfort temperature in naturally ventilated homes in Korea.
