- Abstract
- Idle facilities that have been neglected and abandoned due to their loss of function are being regenerated in consideration of physical aspects, urban renewal value, social value, and economic value. In recent years, there has been an increasing number of cases in which content is reproduced using the term "culture". The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of revitalization design expression of idle facilities used as exhibition space. The exhibition space, which was opened within the last 10 years, was selected as one of four places near the metropolitan area. Through the previous research, the analysis framework was created and the case was analyzed through on - site investigation. Storytelling has been shown remarkably in the history of the history using the elements of the past, and the symbolism is relatively low compared with other expression characteristics. The conservativeness was very high, and in all cases, the reuse of the structures in the past appeared. In connection, there was a linkage program for local residents and an external space was used as an exhibition space.
