- Abstract
- In this study, to analyze the applicability of the liquid desiccant and evaporative cooling-assisted 100% outdoor air system (LD-IDECOAS) for underground spaces, the energy consumption was compared to that of a conventional above ground spaces. Detailed energy simulation was performed to estimate the energy savting potential of the LD-IDECOAS. Underground space has characteristic of almost stable condition, based on the advantage of this trend that was not large thermal load and thermal load variation compared to the above ground space. As a results LD-IDECOAS of underground space is show energy saving potential compared to the LD-IDECOAS of above ground space.
