- Abstract
- On page 5230, J.-M. Kim and co-workers report a new type of light-responsive erasable ink. Light-stimulated (UV-vis), color-switchable diarylethenes serve as cyan, magenta and yellow colored ink materials for a full color ink-jet printing system based on the “write-erase-write” concept, thereby utilizing the same paper multiple times. The system opens a new avenue toward erasable ink that is compatible with common office inkjet pinrters.
