- Abstract
- The energy consumption in the buildings construction sector plans less important. The present study aims to study the characteristics applied to a low-carbon design architecture of Norman Foster to present a basis for future low-carbon design. Low-carbon design is meant to reduce the design to minimize the use of fossil energy in the whole process of planning, design, construction and maintenance of buildings generate carbon dioxide. Characteristics of Carbon avoidance scheme applied to the construction of Norman Foster, the solar system is planned to cover most of the energy needed for construction. Solar systems are designed in the region is insufficient insolation designed to absorb solar maximum and solar hot area to prevent contrast to reduce the cooling energy consumption. Characteristics of Carbon mitigation plan applied to the construction of Norman Foster"s, established a record layout including plans to circulate the heat through convection of room air. When the natural light by diffusing the illumination of natural light in the room, thus saving energy. In the case of natural ventilation and natural ventilation ventilation was adjusted to eliminate the heat island. Sheath system is planning to the outside louver to effectively reduce the cooling load during the summer when energy efficiency and to enable ventilation by convection.
