- Abstract
- This research focused on the analysis of dynamic interaction of a cable-stayed bridge under a high-speed train. A planar model of train-bridge system is used, in which the bridge is modeled as frame elements and parabola cables, while an ETR 500Y train is modeled as a 10 DOF model. The random track irregularities are generated by power spectrum density functions. Through the geometric restraints and contact forces between train wheels and bridge deck, the interaction equation of motion is derived and then solved by Newmark-β and Newton-Raphson method.
