Abstract
A recent development of technology and information communication has led to a great change to students’ learning processes. However, researches on various technologies and teaching methods that are utilized for teachers during classes are lacking. Therefore, this research aims to understand the level of teachers’ technology use, value of technology and technology proficiency and identify how much these factors influence a technology integrated education for students. Particularly, the importance of teachers’ awareness of the technology integrated education in teaching design where design tools are frequently applied was investigated. The results show that teachers’ teaching method was a highly significant factor for students to use the technology tools in diverse ways during a design process of a studio class, and the technology integrated education for students was realized when teachers are familiar to use the design tools and have a wide comprehension of the tools’ utilization.
