- Abstract
- Spatial augmented reality (SAR), that projects virtual contents onto the real world using a projector, has actively been studied for decades. Most SAR studies assumed that projection environment is static, and focused on improving the projection accuracy in the static environment; however, this paper addresses the latency problem occurred when the virtual contents are projected on dynamic objects. Specifically, the paper proposes a motion prediction model based on the linear Kalman filter for calibrating the latency.
