Abstract
Main objective of this study is finding the water resources stability evaluation index which can be utilized efficiently for the future water resource plan. It is able to synthetically considerer water use, flood control and river environment of each sub-watershed in Korea. To build up this index, individual characteristic value for each category currently utilized such as flood, drought, water quality, stream depletion was analyzed in sub-watershed scale. Finally the whole national water resource stability in Korea was evaluated using weighting factors for each category.
