- Abstract
- In the design a combat vehicle, various performances such as firing, mobility and survivability, etc. should be considered. Furthermore, since these performances relate to each other, design technique which can treat a coupled system should be adopted to design the combat vehicle. In this paper, we use interior/exterior ballistic analysis and 3D combat vehicle analysis for firing and mobility performances, respectively. In firing performance, impulse by firing as well as projectile range are analyzed. In mobility performance, stabilization time and vertical acceleration are calculated. However, since these performances are coupled with each other, we adopt surrogate model to represent coupled performance. Finally, multidiscipline such as firing and mobility design optimization is carried out based on surrogate model.
