- Abstract
- Campylobacter jejuni는 주로 세균성 장염을 일으키고 균증을 포함한 장외감염은 드물게 일으킨다고 알려져 있다. 발열 과 두통을 주소로 내원한 20세 남자환자와 설사와 복통을 호소하는 23세 남자환자의 액에서 C. jejuni가 분리되었다. 이 세균은 무산소성 액배양에서 증식되었고 집락 도말염색에서 구부러진 그람음성 막균으로 찰되었으며, MALDI-TOF MS시험에서 C. jejuni로 동정되었다. 이에 자들은 평소 건강하던 은 환자에서 발생한 C. jejuni균증 2를 보고하는 바이다. Campylobacter jejuni commonly causes bacterial en- teritis but rarely causes extraintestinal infection in- cluding bacteremia. We isolated C. jejuni from the blood culture of a 20-year-old man presenting with fever and headache and also from the blood culture of a 23-year-old man suffering abdominal pain and diarrhea. This organism grew in anaerobic culture, showed curved Gram-negative bacilli by Gram stain,and was identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS).
