dc.description.abstractThis paper presents an economic adaptive cruise control algorithm for vehicle efficiency on ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System). The algorithm controls vehicle velocity to against waste energy by using brake pedal where detecting forward vehicle. By previous study, adaptive cruise control systems are focused on the performance. In this study, coasting operation distance to target vehicle is suggested with radar sensor or others. Also the coasting operation data is based on vehicle field test. This algorithm is simulated using CarSim® simulator with other driving vehicles for verifying its effectiveness.-
