Abstract
This study is an experimental study for estimating the impact of the OA flow rate on the dehumidification performance of a liquid desiccant system. This system was configured with and air heat exchanger for controlling the sensible cooling and a honeycomb media for removing the moisture from out door air. This paper addresses the dehumidification effectiveness variation with the OA flow rate changes in the absorber based on the experiment data collected from the pilot system operation. The lithium-chloride(LiCl) solution is used as working fluid. The measurement of system performance was conducted during the summer in In-cheon, South Korea when the OA is hot and humid. Based on the experiment data showing the dehumidification effectiveness variation of the liquid desiccant system for the OA flow rate changes.
