Abstract
This paper present a hybrid control algorithm of series type hybrid electric vehicle considering performance deterioration index of low-level system. The index is dependent on the result of reference that study on the performance monitoring of ICE, energy storage system and motor. it’s designed to avoid the life cycle decrease of low-level system and to keep total vehicle safety. The algorithm is designed using MATLAB/Simulink and it"s designed to be able to easily simulate vehicle performance proposed research is validated by AVL Cruise.
