- Abstract
- This paper proposes an approximated harmonics analysis based LCL filter design methodology for a grid connected PWM inverter. Unlike conventional LCL filter design methods which usually adapts a complicated, trial-and-error, and time-consuming procedure, the proposed methodology provides the straightforward design result without a recursive procedure, by using a approximated harmonic analysis and a correlations between design specifications. The theoretical harmonic analysis and derivation of the proposed methodology are provided in detail, and the step-by-step design procedure is presented. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methodology is verified through various simulation results by using PSIM software.
