Abstract
The routing path design of hydraulic hose in hydraulic system for automobiles and construction equipment is very important for delivering power to the surrounding components. However, the routing path design of current hydraulic hoses is not being accomplished and most of the time the routing path is being determined by experienced hands in the field. Thus, previous paper proposed a method of creating the optimal hose route and modifying the route. After creating the hose route curve, a minimum energy method is used to minimize deformation energy, and when problems like interference or redesign occur, the hose route will be modified. The hydraulic hose tends to deflection due to the effect of gravity during static conditions which result from its flexible property. Thus this paper analysis of deflection in static condition using a finite-element method, and by applying this to the hose routing path, it compare to actual hose routing path.
