Abstract
This study suggests early stage IPv6 address diffusion policy to succeed in making a soft landing of IPv6 address diffusion by using analytic hierarchy process. We use analytic hierarchy process to find factors that can affect IPv6 address diffusion and relative importance among factors. The survey was done on potential consumers that are both researchers and stakeholders. The objective of research is to find the factors, affecting early stage diffusion of IPv6 address. The results show that the most influential factors are ‘new service creation and commercialization capability in communication/broadcasting sector’, ‘switching cost’, and ‘IPv6 adoption policy of government’ in order. The findings can provide political implications to support the successful adoption of IPv6 technology
