유니버설 디자인(universal design)의 생태관광지로의 적용 가능성

Abstract

유니버설 디자인은 상호호혜적 삶의 원리를 추구하는 사회구성원 모두의 가치를 실현할 수 있으며, 특히 이동권의 보장이라는 인간의 근원적 욕구를 해소시키기 위하여 다방면에 걸쳐 진행되고 있다. 이동할 수 있는 권리에 대한 문제는 유니버설 디자인을 관광분야에 적용하여 연구가능하게 만들어준다. 본 연구에서는 이미 연구된 유니버설 디자인의 다양한 원칙들을 기반으로 생태관광의 특성을 반영한 다섯 가지 범주의 특성을 체계적으로 범주화하고, 그에 따른 실행 방안을 마련하였다. 유니버설 디자인에 내재된 특성 및 효과는 생태관광지의 향유 목적과 일치한다는 점에서 이들 간 연계가 가능하다.

Universal design can realize the value of all the social members pursuing the principle of reciprocal life and is particularly performed in many directions to meet the original human requirement of securing the right to move. The problem of the right to move makes universal design applicable to the field of tourism to study. This study systematically categorized five principles reflecting the features of ecological tourism on the basis of diverse principles of universal design already researched and devised an administrative plan. They can likely be associated with each other in that the features and effects inherent in universal design are consistent with the entertainment goal of ecological tourist attractions.
