Abstract
Real estate auction market is no longer an area exclusively reserved for particular groups of people as it is becoming a newinvestment method for common people, as well as a way for them to purchase their own homes. The existing studies on realestate auction market focused on analyzing the determining factors of highest bid rate or examining the correlations ofregion-specific highest bids, and there have not been many studies on the effects of macroeconomic variables on the bid rate inthe real estate auction market. Accordingly, there is a need to examine the bid rate changes in the real estate auction marketaccording to the fluctuations in macroeconomic variables.
