dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the eco-driving monitoring algorithm which numerically evaluates the driver’s driving habits at the point of the environmental friendliness. This eco-diving monitoring algorithm which cans quantitatively and analytically evaluate the driver’s driving habits based on the instant energy efficiency of vehicle and the mathematical vehicle models. The instant energy efficiency of vehicle is calculated on the kinetic energy, battery energy and engine fuel consumption energy. The effectiveness of the proposed eco-driving monitoring algorithm is verified by the computer simulation using a vehicle model.-
