dc.description.abstract | Recently, motor is equipped many parts of vehicle system in automobile industry. This paper studied IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) used for EHPS(Electric Hydraulic Power Steering) system. IPMSM is suited for EHPS because it has high torque density. In vehicle system the motor is fed by vehicle battery. So input voltage of motor for EHPS can't be over the battery voltage. In addition, torque ripple of motor should be satisfy the requirement. Using the method of changing rotor shape, the input voltage of motor and torque ripple were decreased. By the FEA of d/q-axis inductance and no-load induced voltage, reduction of input voltage and torque ripple were verified. | - |
