Abstract
본 연구에서는 중학생들의 진로탐색유형과 성격요인(16PF), 진로결정 자기효능감 간의 관계 분석을 통해, 학생들이 진로탐색유형 프로파일의 특징을 파악하고, 각기 다른 진로탐색유형 프로파일을 가지게 되는 이유에 대해 밝혀보고자 하였다. 진로탐색에서 실재형, 탐구형, 예술형, 사회형, 기업형, 관습형 등 6개의 유형을 기본으로 1코드, 2코드, 3코드 등의 조합으로 결과를 해석하는데, 6개의 유형이 모두 낮거나 높은 경우, ‘중다’ 진로탐색유형 성향이 있을 학생들을 고려하여 실제로 학생들에게 나타나는 진로탐색유형 프로파일을 파악하기 위해 군집분석을 실시하였다. 나아가 군집분석을 통해 파악된 5개 집단을 구분하는 성격요인들이 무엇인지 판별분석을 통해 집단별 특성을 알아보고, 집단 간 진로결정 자기효능감에서 의미있는 차이가 나타나는지 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 중학생 273명을 대상으로 진로탐색, 16성격요인, 진로결정 자기효능감 검사를 실시하고 자료를 수집한 뒤, SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 상관관계, 군집분석, 판별분석, 분산분석과 사후분석을 실시하였다. 진로탐색 유형 프로파일에 따른 5개의 군집은 ‘다흥미’, ‘RIA현저’, ‘ASE현저’, ‘R현저’, ‘저흥미’ 등의 집단이라고 명명하였다. 5개의 진로탐색 유형 프로파일 집단을 구분하는 성격요인으로 도덕성, 대담성, 민감성의 순으로 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 진로결정 자기효능감에서도 집단 간 유의미한 차이가 나타났다.
This study aimed to find out the characteristics of the career exploration profiles of middle school students through analyzing the relationship between different types of career exploration, personality factors(16PF), and career decision-making self-efficacy. Also, it investigated why each students carry different profiles from others. With six types of career exploration, Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional, they were interpreted by the combination of code 1, 2, or 3. However, when all of the six types were found out high or low, cluster analysis has been performed to see which types really were the ones, in case of students with multiple types. Moreover, the study also tried to find the group characteristics-which personality factor affected the differences between groups-by discriminant analysis and the meaningful differences in career decision-making self-efficacy between five groups. I conducted the tests of career exploration, 16PF, and self-efficacy on 273 middle school students. With the result of tests, I organized the data, and did correlation studies, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, variance analysis, and post analysis using SPSS program. Five groups, defined by the profiles for different types of career exploration, were named accordingly: Multi-Interst, RIA salient, ASE salient, R salient, and Narrow-Interest. There were significant differences in personality factors in the order of rule-consciousness, social boldness, and sensitivity between five profile groups. There were also meaningful differences in career decision-making self-efficacy between five groups.
