- Abstract
- Fenton and photo-Fenton processes have been proven to be effective methods to treat organic pollutants. Although, Fenton precesses are regareded as a kind of powerful methods. The pH range suitable for reacting is very narrow, and it is costly to remove the iron ions from system after the reaction was over. Thus, many works have been focused on the heterogeneous Fenton process to avoid the disadvantages mentioned above. In this research, we reported the synthesis of self-organized nanoporous iron film treated with anodization and electro-reduction of iron foil under variable pH and voltage. The iron nanotubes were fabricated in 1M Na₂SO₄ + 0.25wt% NaF electrolyte. The morphorlogy of iron nanotube was characterized by field emission scanning electron microscope(FESEM) and The crystalline structures of fabricated film were evaluated using X-ray diffraction(XRD).
