- Abstract
- Link analysis is the most important application of web structure mining and serves as a source of new knowledge in web information retrieval. Designing an effective link structure for customer interfaces is critical for the success of cybermalls. The user interface of a cybermall should provide friendly and pleasant shopping environments. A smart link structure that supports convenient moves and jumps serves to this end. We suggest the use of a customer tracking vector using the flow movement of customer interface. The main contribution of this paper is our unique approach to classify hypertext pages based on flow movement and extend the application of flow data for the design and structure of hypertext pages (nodes). This methodology help to create new links to obtain an efficient path to the right destination for customers when there are too many paths to choose from.
