- Abstract
- The performance of the ANC system can be degraded due to an acoustic feedback signal. To solve this problem, the ANC system using an additive random noise was suggested to model an acoustic feedback path. However, the additive noise signal can contribute to the residual noise. In this paper, active noise control (ANC) system with noise power scheduling for online acoustic feedback path modeling (OFPM) is proposed. The proposed method not only controls the additive random noise power based on the convergence status of an OFPM filter, but also employs the OFPM filter with a variable step-size normalized mean square (VSS-NLMS) algorithm to reduce the residual noise. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
