Abstract
A novel multiband inverted-L (IL) antenna, intended for use in a universal serial bus (USB) don tie. is proposed. The internal antenna that we designed consists of an L-shaped zeroth-order resonator (ZOR) and a folded first-order IL element, and has a compact volume of 30 x 15 x 7 mm. The proposed antenna provides the wide bandwidth necessary for covering long-term evolution (LTE), digital cellular network (DCN), and personal communication system (PCS)-1900 frequency bands.
