Abstract
Proposed is an antenna design for achieving wide bandwidth using an extended ground. The poor radiation performance of a planar inverted-F antenna with branch structures was significantly improved using the proposed feeding method, in which the ground is extended under a feed line. The antenna design achieved 27% relative impedance bandwidth at 1.9 GHz.
