- Abstract
- In this paper, an experimental study is carried out to apply FRP modular box members to slabs and girders under various loadings. To verify compressive performance of FRP modular box members, three types of specimens are made: single modular specimens, longitudinally connected specimens and transversally connected specimens. Compressive strength and rigidity of FRP modular box members were analyzed from test results. In addition, the effect of experimental variables such as existence of filling materials, types of filling materials and loading conditions was compared. From the results, we conclude that compressive strength and rigidity of concrete-filled specimens is the most superior in comparison of other types of specimens.
