- Abstract
- Urban renewal consists of various sub projects and thus it inherits the characteristics of mega projects. For this reason, this kind of project requires integrated management of sub construction projects. However, conventional project management system has limits to this end. In order to overcome those, various approaches and methods have been studied. A trend is to introduce IT technologies such as GIS, 3D/4D and Building Information Modeling (BIM) toward better performance by implementing IT-based collaboration. This research aims to analyze iPMIS development strategy in which efficiency of introduced IT can be validated using Strengths, Weakness, Opportunity and Threats (SWOT) analysis.
