- Abstract
- In order to compare the characteristic according to the use of the spiral or the lamination stator in an axial field slotless machine, this paper experimentally introduces the comparison of the electromagnetic and mechanical characteristic, such as phase back-EMF, core loss, frequency response function (FRF) characteristic, resonant frequency, and sound pressure level (SPL). From the comparison, this research is usefully used to select of stator type on the initial design stage of axial flux type machines.
